The decision.
Several months ago, in late 2023, I made a life-changing decision: “Live your life as you dream it. Without compromise, excuses, or giving a f*ck about what other people think.”
This decision marked a pivotal moment in my life, and this blog is my platform to share my thoughts with the world. I aim to inspire people like myself to embrace the same philosophy.
My name is Chen, and I am currently 23 years old, from Israel. After graduating high school, I joined the army, as is mandatory in Israel. Three years of service as a combat medic later, I was released, only to be called back as a reservist for the “Iron Sword War.” Another six months of hard service followed, four of them inside Gaza, fighting for my country. At that point, I was 22 and realized that my life is a gift and that I should embrace it fully. I decided to “live my life as I dream it. Without compromise, excuses, or giving a f*ck about what other people think.” Life is too damn short, and I am fortunate to still walk this earth, so I shouldn’t take it for granted.
Since then, I have embarked on a journey, both physical and mental. I have traveled through Asia, explored new places, and met new people. Each step of this journey has reinforced my belief in living authentically and passionately. I’ve taken my hobby as a photographer more seriously, capturing the essence of the stunning landscapes and diverse cultures I encounter. This blog is my way of sharing these experiences, the beauty of the world, and my personal reflections. Through my lens and words, I hope to convey the profound impact of living true to oneself.
